A space for the softer parts of being human.
Human, After All.
Somewhere between who we’ve been and who we’re becoming, we created this space to slow down, reflect, and give the quieter parts of ourselves a little more room to breathe.
This podcast is a space for expansive and reflective conversations about identity, relationships, healing, ambition, culture, vulnerability, intimacy, uncertainty, and the deeply human experience of trying to understand ourselves while moving through life in real time.
Some episodes may feel deeply personal. Others may feel light, observational, humorous, messy, grounded, uncertain, or emotional. More than anything, this space exists as an honest reflection of two people navigating life from different perspectives while still meeting each other in curiosity, care, and conversation.
We spend so much of our lives becoming the versions of ourselves the world asks us to be; capable, strong, dependable, independent, composed, resilient. And in many ways, those versions of ourselves are necessary. They help us move through the world, care for the people we love, survive difficult seasons, pursue our goals, and continue forward through uncertainty and change.
But somewhere along the way, it can become easy to lose touch with the quieter inner world beneath all of it. The softer truths. The questions we avoid. The loneliness we don’t always name. The tenderness we protect. The parts of ourselves still learning, unlearning, grieving, healing, questioning, longing, and becoming.
Between us, we bring perspectives from both mental health and medicine. And while our conversations are shaped by our professional experiences as psychotherapist and physician assistant, this podcast isn’t therapy or medical advice, it’s simply two friends exploring what it means to be human with curiosity, compassion, and honesty.
We believe that some of life’s most meaningful conversations happen when expertise meets lived experience. Sometimes we’ll draw from research or clinical knowledge. Other times we’ll simply share what we’re learning, questioning, and unlearning ourselves. Wherever a conversation leads, our hope is that this space feels thoughtful, grounded, and deeply human, a place where you can leave feeling a little more understood than when you arrived.
